The 9.0Rc is a short-drum, 9,000-lb. capacity winch that features a 4.8 hp Series Wound Motor for fast line speeds. An exclusive, multi-segment Cam Actuated Brake gives positive operator control during winching. The 9.0Rc comes standard with 50' of 3/8" diameter synthetic rope. Other features include: gloss red paint with primer undercoating that provides superior corrosion resistance; a rugged, 360-degree swivel hook and thimble; an aluminum hawse fairlead; extreme duty winch sealing; and a ballistic nylon sliding sleeve that provides extra protection against abrasion and wear.

SOLID STATE CONTROLS DELIVER THE ULTIMATE IN RELIABILITY
Warn Industries has taken MOSFET (Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor Field-Effect-Transistor) technology and put it to work for serious off-roaders. The 9.5si MOSFET control module eliminates the solenoid pack and its electro-mechanical functions. Operating temperatures from -40 degree F to +180 degree F won't phase it. Voltage drop to the winch is minimal for more efficient operation and low heat gain.

With its extreme sealing system and the 12.5 lb aluminum die-cast body, the 9.5si is the winch for the really serious user who requires the ultimate in reliability, durability and control.

Here's how it works: The specially designed cooling fan (which is mounted under the vehicle's hood) automatically turns on when the winch's motor reaches a certain temperature. The fan forces air through a hose and directly into the winch's motor housing, cooling the motor. The air then flows out of the motor housing via a second hose and is discharged.
